Presidential Fitness Challenge

Developing and Fostering a Healthy Lifestyle

 

During the month of February we will be participating in the Presidential Fitness Challenge. Some of the activities activities/challenges the students and staff will take part in are:

* On Tuesdays through Thursdays in house exercises

* Daily fitness and diet diaries

* Encourage activities such as bike riding, skating, hiking, walking, basketball, active video game such as Wii and Xbox Kinect

*Promote healthy food choices including adding new healthy(water, fruits and vegetables, etc) choices to snack and meal times while removing unhealthy(sweets, cookies, candy, soft drinks, etc) choices 

* Awards for most improved at end of month
